1. Working Principle

Fried food (such as potato chips, French fries, fried banana chips, fried onions, etc.) is fed into the de-oiling drum. When the machine is turned on, the drum rotates at high speed. Centrifugal force on the food propels the fat on its surface toward the drum wall and out through the oil drain holes.

After a short period of operation, most of the fat on the food surface is removed, significantly reducing the oil content of the de-oiled product.

In addition to centrifugal deoiling, vibration deoiling is also very common. It uses mechanical vibration to shake off oil droplets on the surface of food. It is suitable for some fragile foods or products that are not suitable for high-speed rotation.
